CHILE FARMHOUSE

**CHALLENGE**

Identify potential water veins on a property in Chile.

We were approached to conduct a thorough land assessment for a property in Chile, where the primary well had seen a continuous decline in water flow, ultimately drying up. This issue is not isolated to this property but is a common challenge across neighboring estates, all reliant on shallow wells with poor recharge rates, dependent on inconsistent local rainfall and snowmelt.

**THE PROJECT**

Upon receiving the location and boundaries of the property, our preliminary analysis revealed the presence of a cold-water vein running beneath the land at a depth of approximately 260 meters. This vein has the potential to supply a sustainable flow, more than sufficient to meet the property’s current water needs, while also unlocking opportunities for expanded irrigation and agricultural uses, given its capacity.

**SOLUTION**

At this stage, drilling has yet to commence. Various proposals from drilling companies are currently under evaluation, ensuring the most efficient and sustainable solution is selected.

ORISTA AGRICULTURAL

CHALLENGE

Locate possible veins in a farm.

They contacted us to study the land of an agricultural operation where there is also a farm.

The area under study was a very problematic area in terms of groundwater issues since there are few wells in the area that provide water and even fewer significant flows.

They mainly needed water for the farm animals, but in the event of finding significant flows they proposed intensive agriculture.

THE PROJECT
We were provided with the location and size of the farm’s land and we proceeded to study it. This revealed that the exploitation was crossed by a narrow vein but with a lot of potential. For this reason, the ideal point to carry out the drilling was located and it was carried out with excellent results, obtaining a well with flowing water and a flow rate that was more than necessary.

SOLUTION
Today the well provides plenty of water for the farm and they have irrigated part of the farm, increasing the harvests, since in the past they could only grow one harvest a year.

THERMAL POOL in LLÍVIA (Barcelona)

CHALLENGE

Look for a thermal vein near a park.

After a study we carried out to locate water for the municipality’s drinking water supply, they were told that the area was also crossed by a thermal vein that could be interesting for exploitation.

The municipality showed great interest in thermal water given that Llivia is an enclave located in the Pyrenees, an area where skiing is practiced in winter, and they saw that it could be interesting to promote thermal pools to provide new leisure alternatives to the visitors.

They asked us to see if it was possible to locate the thermal vein on the outskirts of a park that would be the ideal location for the thermal pools.

THE PROJECT
The direction of the vein was studied and we saw that it crossed an area of the park, so it was decided to drill the well in this area, although being the bottom of the valley the terrain could complicate drilling.

The well was drilled satisfactorily.

SOLUTION
Currently, the thermal pools have already been built and have recently been opened to the public.

TERUEL BOTTLING PLANT, Spain

**CHALLENGE**

Expand the production capacity of a bottling plant.

Several years ago, after discovering a high-quality water source in Bronchales, we played a key role in establishing the Bronchales mineral water bottling plant. With increasing demand in the bottled water industry, the plant needed to scale up production. To achieve this, they required a new water source that matched the exceptional quality and abundant flow of the original well.

**THE PROJECT**

By tracing the main water vein that runs through the area—initially identified during the original well’s drilling—we determined the ideal location for a new well that would not interfere with the existing water supply. We also identified two additional drilling points for future expansion.

The well was drilled successfully, and the drilling team reported that, prior to our involvement, multiple attempts at finding a suitable water source had failed due to insufficient flow or poor water quality.

**SOLUTION**

The new well, once drilled and tested, confirmed a steady flow of 30 liters per second, with the required water quality. This ensures that the plant can meet growing demand and expand its production capacity without compromising the original well’s output.

MEXICO BREWERY

CHALLENGE

Locate supply points for 4 Heineken breweries.

Through a partner, we were asked to study the possibility of locating water veins on the grounds of 4 Heineken plants in Mexico.

Given the constant water supply problems suffered by 4 Heineken breweries distributed in different locations in Mexico that prevented them from maintaining regular and stable production and given the variable quality of the water, critical for regular beer production, Heineken proposed carrying out wells to be self-sufficient.

The bottling plants were located in Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tecate and Toluca.

THE PROJECT
We were provided with the location of the land where the breweries are located and areas owned by them where drilling could be carried out.

A study of the four cities was carried out, locating important veins, in some cases near the breweries and in some cases on the same grounds as the breweries. Some of the veins were thermal but suitable for use in bottling plants.

These veins had more than enough potential to cover the needs of the breweries, being able to provide a stable flow in quantity and quality to ensure the future of the plants.

SOLUTION
Because the local partner did not reach an understanding with Heineken, the project remained stagnant and while the brewers made new agreements with the municipalities guaranteeing the water supply, solving the urgent problem they had.

Dubai ENG

CHALLENGE

Demonstrate our method to the DUBAI Principe office.

We did some studies for the Crown Prince Office of Dubai of the main veins that cross the territory. This study revealed to us that in the territory we could find 3 types of veins with 3 types of water. A large thermal vein that crosses the territory from west to east at a depth between 830 and 900 meters and a temperature between 48 and 63ºC, a large cold vein that runs from north to south with multiple branches with good quality water at a depth between 420 and 470 meters and a third vein with a northeast-southwest direction and with water suitable for irrigation but not for consumption at a depth between 530 and 580 meters.

THE PROJECT
The client hired us to carry out a series of wells in the 3 veins described in order to demonstrate their existence and bring out these waters.

The project was carried out on a turnkey basis, so drilling equipment was moved from Spain.

The wells were made in each of the veins, with an excellent result in all of them, demonstrating what we had determined in the previous studies.

The wells were gauged and equipped, demonstrating stable flow rates.

SOLUTION
Today the wells continue to operate. The thermal springs providing thermal water to a private club of the Crown Prince Office, the drinking water springs promoting the growth of the Hatta Valley and the irrigation water springs promoting different projects in the Marmoum area.

Gigafactory English

**CHALLENGE**

Identify potential water veins for the GigaFactory.

After media reports surfaced about Tesla’s struggles to secure the vast water supply required for its GigaFactory operations—and the local authorities’ refusal to provide such quantities, which sparked public unrest in Brandenburg—we saw an opportunity. We proposed to conduct an independent study of the area to explore the possibility of uncovering water veins significant enough to resolve the issue.

**THE PROJECT**

We were provided with the location of the GigaFactory and the surrounding land intended for its future expansion. Our analysis revealed two key water veins crossing the area—one cold and one thermal—with the potential to not only meet the current demands of the GigaFactory but also support its future growth.

**SOLUTION**

After completing our study, we reached out to Tesla to present our findings. However, by that time, Tesla had already secured an agreement with local authorities for a municipal water supply, resolving their immediate concerns.
